What Happens if I Violate Probation?
If you violate the terms and conditions imposed by a Judge, then you risk arrest and summons back to court to face a Judge. You have a right to challenge and contest any alleged probation violation and would be granted a hearing. If a judge finds that you violated your probation in an inexcusable, serious way, the judge could revoke the probation and put you in jail. The judge could also release you back on probation but with additional conditions or consequences.
